K-Tron Earns Chemical Processing Reader's Choice Award for Best Technology in Feeders for Fourth Consecutive Year

Chemical Processing, a Putman Media trade journal serving the North American chemical processing industries, recently recognized K-Tron as the "best provider of technology" in the category of feeders, by awarding their 2007 Readers Choice Award for feeders to K-Tron for the fourth consecutive year. Twenty-one percent of the readers responding to the Chemical Processing survey in the category of feeders named K-Tron as the best supplier of feeder technology. AccuRate followed at second with 15% and Acrison was third with 7%.

Control Magazine Awards K-Tron the Reader’s Choice Award for Best Inline Weighing Systems

Control Magazine, a Putman Media trade journal serving the process automation market, recently awarded K-Tron their 2007 Readers Choice Award for Inline Weighing Systems. Twenty percent of the readers responding to the Control Magazine digital survey named K-Tron as the best supplier of Inline Weighing Systems. Rice Lake Weighing Systems came in second with 15%, Hardy Instruments third with 6% and Acrison and Siemens Energy & Automation both had 5%.
According to Putman Publications, the selection process is entirely in the hands of the readers. Their product preferences are based on real-world field experiences, without any prompting from Putman. user community than any other product award model.

Third Consecutive Year: 2006 Chemical Processing Reader's Choice Award for Best Technology Provider in Feeder Category

Chemical Processing, a Putman Media trade journal serving the North American chemical process industries, once again recognized the K-Tron Process Group as the "Best Provider of Technology" in the Feeders category.

The 2006 Reader's Choice Award marks the third consecutive year that K-Tron has earned this honor for its feeders. Seventeen percent of the readers responding to the Chemical Processing survey in the category of feeders named K-Tron as the best supplier of feeder technology. AccuRate and Acrison both tied for second with 8% of the readers naming each of these two companies.

Chemical Processing inaugurated the awards in 2004.Chemical Processing conducted the survey for the third year in 2006. K-Tron has led the feeder category each year. Readers received email notices and electronic newsletters or used the link on the magazine's web site to complete the extensive questionnaire, which covers 40 categories of equipment. Powder and Bulk Engineering: The Best Feeder Company to Do Business With

K-Tron was named number one in preference for Feeder equipment, in the 2004 biannual study conducted by Powder and Bulk Engineering. Since 1988, the journal has surveyed its North American readers every two years to provide a benchmark to equipment companies as to their awareness and preference levels among the journal's readers. The 2004 study covers more than 30 equipment categories.

In their survey, Powder and Bulk Engineering asked participants to choose "...the one company that you would prefer to do business with, if you were going to buy or specify feeding equipment today." K-Tron was named number one overall and was first in nearly all subcategories. Five hundred questionnaires were mailed by the trade journal, with 31.2% returned. Seventy-one percent of the survey respondents had 10 years or more experience in the powder and bulk industry.

Chemical Processing: The Best Feeding Technology

K-Tron was named the Best Provider of Technology in Feeders  in the 2004 Readers' Choice Awards published by Chemical Processing, a Putman Media journal serving the North American chemical process industries. More than 20,000 chemical industry professionals were invited to participate by identifying suppliers they recognize as providing the best technology. The survey was fill-in-the-blank without any prompts to help them recall company names. Hundreds of readers shared their opinions.

The survey covered 40 categories of equipment. For each category a reader could cast only one vote, and they were asked to participate only in those categories where they have direct experience. In the category of Feeders, 22 percent of the readers answering the survey named K-Tron as the "Best provider of feeder technology".

The graph shows K-Tron named by 22% of readers, more than one-and-a-half times the closest competitor in the 2004 Chemical Processing Readers' Choice Award for Best Technology in Feeders.

 

Processing Magazine, Powder/Bulk Solids, Powder & Bulk Engineering: The Best New Technology

Three publications recently singled out K-Tron's new Bulk Solids Pump(BSP) as the most important advance in feeder technology in 2004 and 2005:

Processing Magazine selected the K-Tron Bulk Solids Pump feeder as a Breakthrough Product of 2004. The Breakthrough Products of the Year Award recognizes products, services or technology that have made significant contributions to the process industries with the last year. Winners were announced in the December 2004 issue. 

Powder/Bulk Solids honored the BSP Feeder with the 2004 Powder/Bulk Solids Innovative Technology Award in the category of Processing. Winners were announced in the December 2004 issue.

Powder and Bulk Engineering readers selected K-Tron's Bulk Solids Pump Feeder for the Readers Choice Awards in the February 2005 issue.
